CollegeBoard.com - a comprehensive and content rich site which can help with SAT's, college planning, locating and selecting the right college for you, also tips for preparing and submitting college applications and resources to assist with helping you paying for college.

College Countdown Checklist - A handy and helpful timeline checklist to plan for college grades 9 - 12.

Careersandcolleges.com - Another site with advice on college admission, when to start applying to colleges, finding scholarships/financial aid, college grants and loans. Also :tips and tricks" on taking the ACT and SAT test, plus much more.

Gear UP (http://www2.ed.gov/programs/gearup/index.html) - GEAR UP provides six-year grants to states and partnerships to provide services at high-poverty middle and high schools. GEAR UP grantees serve an entire cohort of students beginning no later than the seventh grade and follow the cohort through high school. GEAR UP funds are also used to provide college scholarships to low-income students.

Upward Bound (http://www2.ed.gov/programs/trioupbound/index.html) - Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree.
